i. Blocking of salary, if required

Every employee is required to submit a resignation letter to it's respective HOD when he plans to Exit.

On approval of the resignation of an employee from the respective HOD, on the resignation date, an estimate of a full and final payment is prepared and checked with the Balance of Privileged Leaves and LFA to be encashed. If the Balance is below the full and final payment, the HR intimates Payroll Department to hold the salary of the following months. Along with the Payroll Department, the HOD is also intimidated w.r.t. the holding of salary

ii. Full and final settlement process

Refer to the flowchart attached.

iii. Documentation

The following documents gets signed by the employee and is put in the employee file

a. the photocopy of the cheque

b. Full and Final Statement

i. Handover of pending work

On approval of the resignation of an employee from the respective HOD, a week before the resignation date a handover-takeover form which contains the details of the pending work which is handed over to the person in replacement of the old employee.
